Meghan Lalor
Based in Savannah, GA. I specialize in residential and hospitality interiors. While my roots are in the Lowcountry, I also love to travel. I received my interior design degree in London and hold a Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design with British Honors. Having lived abroad in places including: the Netherlands, London, England, and Australia, I provide fresh and worldly ideas with an appreciation for southern charm. My passion for design and love of what I do makes it a true privilege to be welcomed into my clients' homes. I pride myself on developing lifelong relationships with my clients. From specifying an entire custom home to making a few furnishing selections, I work closely with my clients to create an experience that is enjoyable, and a home that is beautiful and timeless.
I gained experience in the Hospitality and Luxury Residential Design industries designing hotels and furnishings for a design firm in Queensland, Australia. Upon my return to the United States, I earned more experience in Luxury Residential Design and Custom Home Design while living in Greenville, SC. When I'm not enjoying working on a design, I enjoy spending my time with my other loves.... my wonderful family and fur babies (Daisy & Mullins) and having a glass of wine with family and friends. Married to a Kiwi, with extended family abroad, I still like to make time for travel. I also enjoy being involved in the community and supporting my daughter, Emma, in her theater and performance endeavors.
The Business
Lalor Interiors LLC, is a full service interior design firm located in Savannah, GA established in 2010. AS PRINCIPAL DESIGNER & OWNER OF Lalor Interiors, I set out to craft timeless interiors that encompass luxury and reflect the client’s style. My distinctive designs are featured in a luxury Australian resort, the exclusive Cliff’s Communities in North Carolina, One Vendue range in Charleston, SC, Palmetto Dunes in Hilton Head SC, and various gorgeous coastal communities in and around Savannah, GA.
My use of Autocad software for detailed drawings enables a seamless collaboration with Architects and builders. My services include extensive renovations, new construction, remodels, and commercial settings. Every detail from exterior finishes down to the tiniest details of grout colors and furnishings and décor are considered.
With all of decisions involved in designing new homes and revitalizing spaces it can quickly become very overwhelming. My approach is to relieve that stress and design a space that is classic and tailored to my clients’ vision. I incorporate current and fresh ideas layered with a timeless foundation and eye for detail to create luxurious and finely designed spaces. I only take on a few clients at a time and work predominantly on a referral basis. This allows me to give my clients the attention they deserve.
